Construction of Huanggang Yangtze River Bridge in High Speed



On March 8th, cast-in-place beam pouring of pier S1 and S2 upstream side in the highway approach north of Huanggang Yangtze River Bridge of Huanggang government inter-city railway was completed.
It is known that main construction of the main bridge, north highway and railway Approach Bridge and south railway Approach Bridge has been finished by 29 November, 2012.
All frame piers of south highway Approach Bridge were completed with only 17 holes cast-in-place beam to be constructed before the Spring Festival. CHINA ZHONGTIE MAJOR BRIDGE ENGINEERING GROUP began construction immediately after Spring Festival and finishes the final cast-in-place beam pouring in order to save more time for railway track-laying, telecommunications and electrification construction, which ensures completion of the inter-city railway in the end of this year. The closure of the 4,008-meter-long bridge, which is the sixth combined bridge across the Yangtze River, finished on Friday. Main project of Huanggang Yangtze River Bridge will finish construction in May and it is expected to be put into operation is about to open to traffic on 28 December, 2013.
