Taizhou Yangtze River Bridge Will soon Open to Traffic




Taizhou Yangtze River Bridge was finished acceptance after 5-year-construction on 16 November, 2012. It is known from Changzhou Transportation Bureau that the bridge will open to traffic on 25 November according to the original plan. Traffic of Changzhou city will be more convenient.
This Yangtze River Bridge crossed Changzhou, Taizhou and Zhenjiang as a river-crossing tunnel in Jiangsu Province and a significant joint connecting the central and north part of Jiangsu Province.
Taizhou Yangtze River Bridge began construction on 26 December, 2007. It is a suspension bridge supported with three towers and two spans with six-lane highway, total length of 62.08 kilometers.
