An Offshore Community was built in Eastern Artificial Island of Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Island and Tunnel Project

An offshore community was built in eastern artificial island of Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Island and Tunnel Project. More than 600 technical and construction staff will live in the community without travelling to and fro between camp in Zhuhai and artificial island for two hours. Advanced sewage system is installed in the island to reduce pollution and irrigate plants after filtering domestic sewage since the island is close to Hong Kong and conservation area of white dolphin.
The new camp will contain 600 persons, which provides excellent conditions for the succeeding construction. Facilities for living, working, dining and exercising will be all available.
The 300-meter transition bridge to the east of the island will begin construction in the middle of October expected to be finished in two years. Transformational tunnel for bridge and tunnel will be excavated in January next year.
