Stonecutters Bridge, Hong Kong, was awarded George S. Richardson Medal at 2011 International Bridge Conference (IBC). George S. Richardson Medal is an Award for a single, recent, outstanding achievement.
The bridge is a high level cable-stayed bridge which spans the Rambler Channel in Hong Kong, connecting Nam Wan Kok, Tsing Yi Island and Stonecutters Island. Deck of the bridge was completed on 7 April 2009 and opened to traffic on 20 December 2009, making this the second longest cable-stayed span in the world.
